"I'm fine. My nose is just overflowing with awesome and I had to get some of it out."
There is not enough "oh shut up" left in the world today. If I have any mission in life, it is to say "oh shut up" whenever I deem it necessary.
Case in point: One person complains and a tradition is done away with. The ones I've heard today alone have involved an easter egg hunt, kindergarteners dressing up as Pilgrims and Native Americans, a greeting card creation contest, and changing the name of a Christmas charity 'Giving Tree' to 'Giving Garden', because tree is just too close to Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised if half were due to over-sensitive anticipation.
The only thing that comes to mind is what the hell? Seriously, what the hell? It's along the lines of this impossible wish to please everyone and not step on any toes. Guess what kids, that isn't reality. This is a no Disney zone, please return to the Magical Kingdom before you turn into a real boy. I could go on about this for a long time, but overwhelming anger does not a coherent argument make.
My only wish for the world--right now, as I have a few--is to relearn how to just say too bad. You don't like little kids running around collecting eggs full of candy because it has religious affiliations? Too. Bad. Lighten the hell up. Life is difficult and you're just making it suck even more.

Another "Excuse to Use A New Icon" post. All the talk of sparkly emotastic vampires and then seeing this got me feeling competitive. You think your hero is the master of strong silent angst? Darcy is so strong/silent/angsty that no sparkles are permitted in his general vicinity. (Sadly I don't think Darcy in vampire form would ever be interesting. At all.)
Then again Elizabeth never, ever made me want to beat her bloody with a shovel. She knew how to put a bitch in their place, dammit.
...Yeah I can't help myself, I hate Bella. So sue me. I'll pay you in decent main female characters.
I meant to be nice during this... Right. End post de trans-book character references. Graveyard Book is waiting.
I'm irritated to an interesting degree over the fact that Force Unleashed won't be released on the PC. "It definitely will not be coming to PC," were LucasArts' exact words, I think. Gumble mumble harumph.
Not that I should really have another game around to distract me right now, but you can't deny a girl her Sith robe wearing, various-colored-lightsaber wielding, force pushing Vader apprentice action. I'm looking at you, Christmas/future paychecks. Xbox360 will be mine.
Seriously though, cutting people down, throwing them off tall objects, and a whole 'let's play dress up' feature? Give me a drink with a tiny umbrella and what more could a girl want? Rhetorical question.
I love my aunt and uncle so much right now I could cry,
I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.
Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
Hit me with your best shot!
I LIVE! A BIG FUCK YOU TO MOTHER NATURE! Fucking storm. Oh sweet Jesus I was going insane from boredom. Pictures later 8D

In other Jrock news, Yasu is in a new band. Yep. Really no more Janne anymore. D: I hoped it would only be like a hiatus, but I guess not. That's amazingly depressing... But they've got some good people.
